  • Overview

    The Manager, Digital Platform will support IMG College and its university partners by overseeing the day-to-day operations of more than 40 websites and 30 mobile applications. The individual must be digitally passionate and have experience in product development and management.

    This position will be a member of the Digital Assets and University Partnerships team. The team’s primary focus is assisting IMG College’s local sales teams generate digital revenue. In addition, the team manages a variety of operational tasks in support of university partner websites and mobile applications.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle the day-to-day operational responsibilities associated with the 40+ websites and 30+ mobile applications IMG College manages on behalf of its partner universities
    • Manage the implementation of IMG revenue producing components (e.g., ad tags, sponsor assets, product features, video streaming, etc.) into partner websites and mobile applications
    • Technical contact for IMG College’s third-party technology partners
    • Contribute to and prioritize technology partner product roadmaps for websites and mobile application development
    • Assess and improve performance of websites and mobile applications against revenue goals through analysis of platform metrics
    • Stay abreast of ever-evolving digital product trends and provide on-going strategic inspiration to the organization for digital revenue generating opportunities
    • Assist in the management and scheduling of audio streaming broadcasts
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital product development and management required
    • Experience overseeing a portfolio of websites and apps for multiple clients
    • Sound technical knowledge in digital products and the website and mobile space
    • Ability to explain technical material to a non-technical audience
    • Experience in working with digital measurement tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
    • Candidate should be driven, solutions focused, organized, have the ability to work independently and have excellent interpersonal communications and relationship building skills
    • Knowledge of and familiarity with college sports and sports terminology in general
