IMG College, a business unit of IMG Worldwide, is the leader in collegiate marketing, licensing and media rights. The IMG College GM will provide sales leadership for a specified university sports program. The GM will work closely with the Account Managers at each property to conceptualize and execute on sales and sponsorship programs that maximize profit margins and revenue targets. The GM must also oversee all fulfillment activity to ensure that contractual deliverables are fully met.
In close partnership with the RVP, the GM must creatively build new inventory at each property, and then utilize all inventory to build sales programs that go beyond traditional packages. Programs should provide clients with comprehensive marketing solutions that incorporate all property assets, including intellectual property, conceptual, experiential, digital, multimedia, ticketing, hospitality and suites offerings.
The GM must be able to develop deep, collaborative relationships with key officials at the university’s athletic department. The executive will have day-to-day responsibility for the property’s P&L, and be able develop reliable short- and long-term plans that can be adapted for unexpected shortfalls. The GM must provide supervision and leadership for the Account Executives and adminstrative staff. The GM will also need to seamlessly move the team from a focus on sales to a focus on fulfillment upon the start of the sports season.
