    A Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for creating complex graphics, animation and live video content for a diverse array of media, including smartphones, handheld electronic devices, LED graphic and video displays, the web and television, among others. Other projects can include title and post-production work, as well as multimedia campaigns, promotion products, technical illustrations and computer artwork for use in a variety of materials.


    The Motion Graphic Designer will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process, from conceptualization to storyboard and editing. This position will provide assistance to the Director of Sports Media, Director of Digital media, Director of Website, Production Managers, Producers and temporary assistants in the fulfillment of original content for GBSM partners and clients.



    • Design 2D and 3D images.
    • Primarily responsible for the creation and management of all in-venue, digital and social media graphic initiatives that is produced for the University partner to convey, maintain and advance the brand.
    • Imagine, design and create original motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, website & marketing demos, etc.) in various media including web, mobile, etc.
    • Work directly with social media Director to ensure all social media content and graphic design adheres to overall strategic plan and brand continuity.
    • Work with Athletic Association’s marketing and promotions department to develop in-game entertainment concepts and team related video content.
    • Act as a liaison between and team and University Marketing to develop sponsor friendly in-game and social media content for sponsor.
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, clients and the University marketing group on a broad spectrum of projects.
    • Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
    • Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc. for graphic design.
    • Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
    • Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
    • Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
    • Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
    • Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
    • Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
    • Comply with all Federal, State & Local regulations, loaws and ordinances in discharging duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphics Design, Multimedia or other relevant field
    • Minimum one year relevant production experience at the University or Professional level
    • Proficiency in handling various software tools like Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro
    • Excellent imaginative power, strong sense of creativity and expertise in the animated arts.
    • Concept of art designing and typography
    • Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
    • Ability to lift and operate heavy camera, lighting and grip equipment
    • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects with varying deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, activation, best practices and new production efforts
    • Develops self and others to improve performance in current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance
    • Availability to travel, work nights and weekends as expected
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
