Responsibilities

  • Manage the pipeline(s) of 1-2 national sales team members to support/drive sponsorship sales and renewals
    • Become the primary point of contact for the assigned national sellers
    • Understand and synthesize insights and objectives gained from client meetings to aid in the development of the approach and rationale for partnership
    • Analyze a brand’s marketing efforts in order to identify/create activation concepts that align with the brand, support the partner’s marketing objectives and drive business results
    • Own projects and provide guidance to a 1-2 direct reports on the creation of customized pitches, proposals and other materials to engage prospective and existing clients, including:
      • Providing direction on the development of activation platform & creative
      • Partnership pricing, term sheets and contracts
    • Track and communicate progress to key constituents
    • Ensure key deadlines are met
  • Participation in external sales meetings and pitches
  • Lead weekly calls with assigned region(s), including agendas and timely follow up communication
  • Frequent communication with internal teams (Partnership Marketing, Sales Operations, Digital, Radio, Research, etc.)
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the Endeavor business units to identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Regular communication of workflow to Director, Marketing Solutions

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of sports marketing agency or client-based sponsorship account management experience or specific disciplines, such as sponsorship marketing, event marketing and media sales
  • Experience managing the development and implementation of sponsorship marketing strategy on behalf of client or company preferred
  • Experience with sponsorship contract negotiations preferred
  • Experience from a collegiate sports property preferred
  • People management experience (demonstrate ability to motivate and develop a team)
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Strong ideation skills, including the ability to lead structured brainstorms
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to tell a story
  • Knowledge & understanding of new media and marketing trends
  • Ability to analyze research findings that best demonstrate brand alignment and high index against designated target consumers
  • Ability to develop high-stylized, customized pitches & proposals that bring the partnership and concepts developed to life
  • Ability to manage and lead several projects and deliverables at one time
  • Excellence in presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); Photoshop experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
